Dizzaract Games has officially launched as the largest game development studio in the Middle East with 160 people.

Based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Dizzaract is setting its sights on redefining gaming by combining artificial intelligence, immersive gameplay, and blockchain technology. The studio is aiming to lead the upcoming wave of AI-powered Web3 gaming.

That fits with the strategic mission of Abu Dhabi, which recently established Beam Ventures, a $140 million fund aimed at investing in Web3 games.

Dizzaract wants to push the boundaries of gaming through patented AI frameworks that transform
traditional gameplay into adaptive and interactive experiences. The studio holds registered patents for an ‘Adaptive Machine Learning Framework for Gaming Assistance’ and a ‘Personalized AI Learning and Training Framework for Gaming Systems.’ These innovations allow games to respond dynamically to player actions, making every session unique.

“2025 marks the beginning of what we call the ‘AI Supercycle’ in gaming,” said Ilman Shahzaev, founder of Dizzaract Games. “We’re moving beyond scripted events to create living worlds where AI agents adapt to players’ decisions and even emotions in real time. This shift will blur the line between gaming and reality, offering deeply personal and immersive experiences.”

Dizzaract’s flagship game, Farcana, is a team-based hero shooter developed on Unreal Engine 5. Work began on the game in 2022, but the company stayed in stealth. It looks like Overwatch in terms of gameplay, and Shahzaev said he is encouraged to see the recent success of Marvel Rivals, another hero shooter that recently took off.

The title features 24 unique characters with diverse tactical roles and advanced AI integration, the game delivers immersive storytelling and deep strategic gameplay. As the first high-budget game developed in the UAE, Farcana aims to set a new benchmark for triple-A production quality in the region, presenting a Middle Eastern take on renowned Marvel Rivals.

Additionally, the game incorporates Web3 features, offering players true ownership of in-game assets and
blockchain-powered economies.

The adaptive and personalized AI frameworks patented by Dizzaract represent a leap forward for the gaming industry. These technologies enable real-time analysis of player behavior, adjusting gameplay, NPC interactions, difficulty levels, and even in-game economies to align with each player’s unique journey. This approach drives deeper engagement and keeps players immersed in what the studio describes as an “endless dopamine loop,” Shahzaev said.

Dizzaract’s vision goes beyond traditional gaming. With AI with Web3 integration, the studio is building decentralized economies where players can truly own their in-game assets and identities. The studio envisions a future where digital ownership becomes standard, and Web features become the norm in gaming, allowing players to transfer achievements, avatars, and assets across multiple games seamlessly.

Dizzaract wants Farcana to be a triple-A Web3 game.

“Gaming is becoming more than entertainment,” said Shahzaev. “It’s evolving into a culture where players are creators, decision-makers, and stakeholders. AI and Web3 are at the core of this transformation.”

With the launch of Dizzaract Games, the Middle East solidifies its position as a key hub for technological and creative innovation in the gaming industry. The studio is poised to lead the charge into a future where gaming becomes a blend of immersive storytelling, dynamic economies, and real-world value.

Shahzaev said in an interview with GamesBeat that he made a fateful decision back in 2018. He was working on a doctorate in the comfort of academia, but was also fascinated with cryptocurrency. During the 2018 crypto crash, he decided to pull out of the PhD. program and focus on crypto entrepreneurship. It turned out to be a very lucrative move, and then he started backing a $10 million crypto mining data center. He was also a top-ranked gamer with a passion for esports.

All of these passions came together in Dizzaract, where he is trying to create a balance between Web3, gaming, and AI. He wants Dizzaract to revolutionize the gaming industry through innovative technologies like AI and Web3, and what this means for future game design.

Shahzaev’s vision on how AI will transform player experiences, including real-time adaptations in gameplay and personalized interactions. He predicts that by 2025, gaming will enter the “AI Supercycle,” with games that respond dynamically to players’ actions, decisions, and emotions in real-time. He believes AI agents will function inside games with both benefits and challenges. He has seen pushback on AI inclusion and adoption, but he thinks that advantages will outweigh the negatives.

Shazhaev thinks AI will play a dominant role in Web3 gaming development in 2025. He envisions an AI-driven in-game economy where prices, resources, and events are adjusted based on player behavior and market trends. He also sees the integration of digital ownership and AI as a catalyst for the creation of entirely new markets for game assets and experiences, much like the rise of internet companies in the late 1990s.

In addition to this, Shazhaev notes the growing trend of AI agents, particularly their role in managing in-game economies. A recent report from VanECK states that over a million new AI agents will be created by the end of 2025, emphasizing their potential impact across various sectors. According to Coingecko data, AI agents currently represent a market cap of $11.3 billion.

Ilman Shahzaev, founder of Dizzaract Games.

“In Web3 games, AI agents can manage in-game economies, providing real-time insights and keeping systems dynamic and responsive. Web3 is another critical element driving this supercycle. By 2025, digital ownership will no longer be optional — it will be a core expectation,” Shahzaev said. “Players will own their in-game assets and identities, transferring achievements seamlessly across games while participating in economies that mirror real-world markets.”

For example, imagine an avatar from one game carrying its skills, history, and assets into another, creating a unified digital identity. Epic Games’ CEO has already envisioned connecting Fortnite, Minecraft, and Roblox into a unified metaverse, where digital assets can move freely across platforms, he said.

“Unreal Engine is offering the most suitable platform for mass adoption as millions of players engage daily.AI-driven Web3 games will dominate the market by combining immersive gameplay with decentralized economies,” Shahzaev said. “In-game economies, powered by AI, will be as dynamic and complex as real-world markets. These games will transcend entertainment, becoming cultural movements where players act as evangelists, with AI-powered avatars serving as extensions of their digital identities.”

He believes every player’s experience will be uniquely tailored, from storylines to gameplay mechanics, creating deeply personal journeys. This convergence of AI and Web3 will also open entirely new markets for assets, experiences, and even professions within gaming.
