Process intelligence: Improving operational efficiency with Celonis – SiliconANGLE

In today’s technology world, industry leaders prioritize integrating advanced technologies and sustainable practices to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation. Though much of the focus these days is around generative AI, there are still processes that some say are broadly undervalued, including Celonis process intelligence.

In that regard, there’s much to consider. Celonis process intelligence has huge potential, according to Eugenio Cassiano (pictured), senior vice president of strategy and innovation at Celonis SE.

Celonis’ Eugenio Cassiano talks with theCUBE about process intelligence.

“When you think about [it], we’re becoming de facto, a new class of data that we generate. With that, you can do many more things,” he said. “You can now do also predictive process mining, like generating data and then do some, probably, better simulation.”

Cassiano spoke with theCUBE Research’s Rob Strechay and Savannah Peterson at Celosphere 24, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed the impact on operational efficiency of Celonis process intelligence and the role of sustainability in driving business innovation. (* Disclosure below.)

Celonis process intelligence aims to change the game

These days, it’s very trendy in the CIO community to discuss the self-healing enterprise, according to Cassiano. It refers to the automation of the automation.

“Thanks to the process mining, the signals, you don’t only fix, but you keep monitoring, and it keeps fixing. It’s very, very interesting,” he said.

Celonis works with a number of different verticals, including healthcare and companies from the technology industry. The company functions more like venture capitalists than anything, providing a  platform which it believes provides a competitive advantage, according to Cassiano.

“We want to have others embracing the platform, embracing the power, what this can do … scale is not scaling with your own people. It’s either you automate or either you embrace knowledge from others,” he said. “That’s what we want to do. That’s why this strong commitment to our partner ecosystem is super important.”
