Documentation enhancements for Deephaven v0.13.0 | Deephaven

Getting Started with Ollama

As usual, the Community Core user guide has been updated to reflect v0.13.0, with how-tos for Barrage performance metrics and partitioned tables.

As you look around, you may notice a slightly new look on our docs site, as this month we added a “mega menu” to enhance navigation:

Highlights from our blog and YouTube channel are discussed below.

We published diverse content this month, with general interest tutorials and an in-depth example of the deephaven-IB plug-in.

  • Like many companies, we use Slack to communicate with our co-workers and users. We didn’t want to lose any messages after we hit our limit for the free service, so Jake from the dev-rel team used the Slack API to archive old threads. Read the full solution here.
  • JJ is a big fan of online, team-based games, and his personal side project to create a matchmaker for solo players to join competitive teams evolved into a Deephaven repo. Read his blog for the Python code that helps you jump into an exciting match.
  • Our Lead Client Solutions Architect, Raffi, joined the dev-rel team this month, and blogs about hedging systematic risk with the Deephaven-IB plugin. This is the first of several finance-related posts to come.

We enjoyed talking with the community in real time so much during our Reddit AMA that we decided to start live-streaming our devl-rel Learning Sessions. If you missed the broadcasts, you can catch up on our YouTube channel. Stay tuned for more live talks each week.

Look out for developer demos weekly to see how Deephaven Community Core continually evolves.
